Hi I'm Calli

I am a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was baptized when I was 12. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently the only active member in my family. I go to high school with a handful or more Mormons. I always love being a shining example to the people at my school. It brings me joy to try to spread the gospel to my friends; and anyone who asks. I plan on going to BYU- Idaho when i graduate high school; I plan on majoring in psychology and minoring in English.

Why I am a Mormon

When I decided to become a member of my church, I guess the main thing that attracted me to the gospel was the spirit that i felt, and the truthfulness of the gospel. My first missionaries I had was Elder Bowman and Elder Bradshaw. They helped me read through the Book of Mormon and explained things that I had trouble understanding. The truth that they testified to me with was something so strong that my sister and I glowed and got baptized a month or so later. I believe in the principles that they teach me everyday. I believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, and in doing good to all men. I truly believe we have a living prophet, who can guide us in our life, I believe that all of our general and stake authorities are chosen for us in our time; they are what we need and I try and follow what they say needs to be done. I love my Savior, I love my Heavenly Father, and I love my church oh so much. I believe I AM a beautiful daughter of God, and He loves me. I will stand as His witness at all times, in all things, and in all places. I strive to be like my Savior everyday.

How I live my faith

I serve in a leadership position over our youth group in young women's; like a president if you will. I love serving people whenever I can. It brings me so much joy to help people and just see their smiling faces. It brightens my spirit when I help others. That is why I love Mormon Helping Hands(an organization that our church does to serve our community, i.e. cleaning up our environment). Showing my love and gratitude is what I mainly do everyday because its needed everyday. Love is a strong thing. I like to be like unto to the Savior and love my neighbor as myself.
