Hi I'm Ashley Vogel

I am from St. George UT, called to serve in the Omaha, NE mission. I report May 29th, 2013. And I am a Mormon :)

About Me

I am an 18 year old future missionary of the Nebraska Omaha mission! I absolutely love this gospel, and can't wait to serve! But a little bit more about me, I am going to school at Dixie State University in St. George UT. I am on student government there and I love it! I love to dance, and I love to run! I also love to play the guitar... I attempt to sing... I love to do anything outdoors! I graduated from Pine View High School in 2012, and was very involved with their medical club called HOSA. I am majoring in Dental Hygiene. But right now, I feel school is so irrelevant to me, and I am literally counting down the days till I can serve my mission! Holla'!

Why I am a Mormon

I wasn't always active in the church. I was born in Las Vegas, and at the time my parents were members, but not active. I was baptized when I was 8 years old, but I didn't fully understand what anything in our gospel meant. My family moved to Utah when I was 11 years old, and we became fully activated in the church. HOLY COW. What a difference it had made in my family's life! I could tell that we were so much happier! I love how this gospel is centered around forever families. It is such an amazing feeling knowing that I can be with them forever. I also love how we don't have to be perfect, and we can still live with God again.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by performing service to members of my community. Being on student government at Dixie State University, we do a lot of service projects! I also live my faith by sharing it with others. I am so completely happy with my life, and I know it is because of this gospel. I want to share it with everyone because I want them to be just as happy as me! Who wouldn't want ultimate happiness? Duh! I also teach the sunbeams (children ages 3-4) in Sunday school. And let me tell you something, they are a handful. But it is so worth it seeing them every Sunday! I know why they are called Sunbeams now, because they just lighten the room with their bright spirits!
