Hi I'm Megan

I am a singer, I love teeth and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 22 years old. I am a Sister Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am currently serving in the Utah, St. George Mission and I am so happy to be here. I love this Gospel, I am grateful for my Saviour, Jesus Christ. I love that I can read my scriptures everyday to reconfirm my testimony of the Book of Mormon. I love serving the Lord. I'm a qualified Dental nurse. And I love it. I plan on going to University after my mission and training to be a Dental Hygienist. I love to sing and perform! I love to have fun and hang out with my friends. I also love to travel. I have 1 brother and 3 sisters. I am the youngest of the 5! I love having a big family. Being the youngest I have been blessed to have such a good relationship with my parents and know that they would be there for me whenever I would need them.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ my whole life so I was baptized when I was 8 but even I needed to be converted. It doesn't just come to you, you have to work hard and have a desire to gain a testimony of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I have always felt the spirit and known what's right and what's wrong but haven't always found it easy to make the right decisions but with the blessings of this gospel I have found true happiness. The atonement plays a HUGE role in my life. It helps me know I can be forgiven when I make mistakes. It helps me understand more fully that Heavenly Father knows me individually and He knows what's best for me. I know that through the trials I have faced, it's helped me draw closer to God. I know that I can pray whenever I need his help and He will always be there. If I continue to live righteously I know that I can be with my Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus Christ again. I am a Mormon because I have prayed and asked to know of its truthfulness and I have felt in my heart that it is true. It's not a feeling that can be described but it's the most powerful thing. I know that if we choose to live under the teachings and commandments of our Latter Day Prophet we will be blessed and we will be truly happy.

How I live my faith

I choose to live my faith everyday. Recently I realised how important it is to test your faith and to show how much we love our Father in Heaven. 1 Timothy 4:12 - "....Be thou an example of believers...." - I am living my faith by setting an example to people around me. I have more recently started to read my scriptures daily and not just reading them, asking a question and looking for the answer. Anyone can read a book, I'm choosing to study it. Simple acts of kindness and praying to my Heavenly Father to bless me with opportunities to serve others.
