Hi I'm Levi

I'm a northern Alberta farm boy. I love music and am now serving as a missionary in the Canada Halifax Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on farm and learned to love to drive tractor and make hay. I love to run, play music, ride dirt bikes, kayak and pretty much anything that has to do with the outdoors. I've gone camping and hiking countless times. I've run in track and field being able to compete at the provincial level. Right now I am currently enrolled in university for Mechanical Engineering and hope to someday either become a machinist or a mechanical engineer. I just received my mission call and will be able to serve the Lord for two years in the Canada Halifax Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this Gospel is true. And when something is true, what else matters?

How I live my faith

I go to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I have a calling as a ward missionary where I seek out those who may be interested in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and bring them to the full-time missionaries so they can learn about Christ and the Gospel and how they can bring peace and progression to us in this life and the life to come. I also am a home teacher and in this calling I help a few individuals in our church. If they ever need anything, whether it be help moving to a new house, or help to step on a spider for them, they can call me at anytime and I will be there for them. I am a holder of the Melchizedek Priesthood, the same Priesthood which was given to Joseph Smith by Peter, James, and John. The same Peter, James and John who were called by Christ as Apostles during His earthly ministry. With this Priesthood I have the responsibility to do my best to live and act as the Saviour would; in the service and betterment of others. I do not always succeed, but I always do my best.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Jesus Christ is our Heavenly Father's literal Son. They are two separate beings. Jesus Christ was chosen by Heavenly Father in the pre-existence to create the Earth for us to come and inhabit. He came down Himself and performed for us the Atonement. The Atonement is our only hope to be able to overcome the effects of sin and return to God. Christ paid the price for our sins. Christ overcame spiritual and temporal death so that we may be able to one day dwell with Heavenly Father and receive eternal progression if we live this life in accordance with His teachings to the best of our abilities.
