Hi I'm Hanna

I'm a farm girl from Idaho. I love sunshine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I come from a small town in Southern Idaho, where I have lived throughout my whole life. Growing up on a farm, I learned what the word "work" meant at a very young age and I am so grateful! Along with working on our family ranch/farm, I also had the opportunity to work as a CNA at a nursing & rehabilitation center and in an Alzheimer's unit at an assisted living center. I love spending time with my family and friends, playing sports and being outdoors. I am currently a full-time student at BYU-Idaho and absolutely love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I love my family. Because the gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored to this Earth, the Priesthood power provides my family with the blessing and the opportunity of being able to be together FOREVER, for time and all eternity. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it helps me know that I always have the opportunity of changing and becoming a better person. Satan wants us to believe that when we have sinned that we have gone past a "point of no return" - but that is not true! There is hope and that is through and ONLY through Jesus Christ. Through the Atonement of Jesus Christ we are able to repent of our sins and be forgiven. A defining time in my life was when I realized how much happiness and eternal blessings would come from giving my will to the Lord and He wants that for everyone!

How I live my faith

I've been fortunate to have the gospel in my home my whole life, but have been a member of the church ever since I was baptized at age 8. I love my faith! Following the example of Jesus Christ is definitely not easy, nor will it ever be in this life, but that is why it is worth it! I believe that the only way it becomes easier to follow Him is as we gain a greater relationship by reading His words found in the scriptures, praying, repenting and looking for opportunities to serve others. As I have made it a priority in my life to do those things every day, I have noticed that my circumstances don't necessarily change, but I change - I realize more that it's not the things of the world that will provide the joy and the peace I need, only my Savior can provide that for me.
