Hi I'm Analise

I'm from California. I love people, random trips, and being out of a routine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from a small town in the state of California! I also claim Gilbert, Arizona after living there for 4 years. I went to school in Utah and served a mission in Birmingham, Alabama. I like to move around, experience different places and get to know people. I love long trips but sometimes can be a total homebody. I have three brothers, a father who taught me kindness and hard work, and a mom who is my best friend. I love all these things, but pure happiness comes from being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

There is no other thing that brings more happiness and peace to me, than the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know Heavenly Father would not allows us to come to this Earth without direction and truth. The Gospel is that direction. It is truth. And it is found and complete in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. God has blessed us with more scripture and a modern day Prophet to give direction and understanding. I have recognized the influence of Gods power throughout my life. I cannot deny the things the spirit has taught me. I continue to fall and need saving. Because of Jesus Christ and ordinances that have been restored to the Earth, I can become the person God sent me here to be. When I strive to follow the principles taught in the church it gives me a greater depth of understanding and purpose in life. The greatest blessing in my life is the knowledge I have because of the restored gospel.

How I live my faith

My favorite quotes is, "Don't lose faith in the things you know, because of the things you don't know." - Kelly Ogden. I'm not always sure the reasoning for all things, but I do know the reason for life. I do know God exists, and that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the World. I have always loved church. I have a unwavering testimony of the Book of Mormon. I love studying from it. I've also learned to love the Bible being on a mission. It's the South, it's bound to happen! The best way I knew how to express my faith was by serving a mission. It was the best decision I've ever made! I love the people there, and being able to bear testimony every day. My goal in life is to live according to Gods will, not just my own. I sometimes feel inadequate, but I know that as I put all my trust in Him, I can live an extraordinary life.

Why do Mormons perform proxy baptisms in their temples?

Analise
Baptism is an essential step toward returning back to our Heavenly Father. There are many on Earth who have not had that opportunity, so Heavenly Father has blessed us with Temples where those who are able can be proxy for the deceased. Then it is up to those who have passed away to choose to accept or decline what has been done for them. Show more Show less
