Hi I'm Bryan Maples

I'm from West Valley City, UT. I am a business school graduate. I love to be active in sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been raised in the Latter-Day Saint religion. I am a typical Latter-Day Saint who enjoys being active in the church. I have an awesome wife and 3 great children. I love to be outdoors which is one of the reasons I love living in Utah. I enjoy playing golf, hiking, snowboarding, basketball, and camping with my family! I get obsessed with little projects that that turn into my hobbies. I am a guy who loves to have a good time and laugh whenever possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of the overwhelming truths of God that I get to see in my everyday life. These truths extend from my family to the birds in the sky. For me, it is really hard to believe that everything on this earth just happened without a supreme creator who is backing it. God's truth are manifested in all that we do despite whether we see them or not. I have asked my Heavenly Father if the truths of the Latter-Day Saint church are true. The answer has come to me time and time again through the feelings of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost gives an awesome feeling of comfort that warms my body and lets me know that what I am doing is right. I am a Mormon because I want to be with my family forever and through the power of the priesthood, I know that this can be possible.

How I live my faith

When I returned from my LDS mission in Detroit, Michigan, I was called to be the Young Men's President for my local congregation. This was such a blessing in my life as I learned so much from teaching the youth and seeing how they live the gospel. I have now been moved to the Stake Young Men's Presidency where I still get to work with the youth in the church on a larger scale. I enjoy working with the youth teaching them the simple truths that will help them in the get through the troubles that face today's teens. I love to help them see how they can be examples to their friends so that they can share the gospel by how they live. The youth teach me so much on who I am and what I can do in this world to share my beliefs and talents.
