Hi I'm Hillary!

I am a singer and songwriter, Public Relations student, runner, list-maker, daughter, aunt, sister, friend, and Christian.

About Me

I love this life that I live! I love to sing and have been doing it my whole life. Almost nothing brings me more joy than music. I served an LDS mission in the Florida, Jacksonville Mission. I am a student at Utah State University, studying Public Relations. I love being active. I run, I play soccer and basketball, I attempt to play tennis, racquetball, swimming, and anything else that gets my blood pumping! I will try it all and may look like an idiot doing it, but I love to use this body that Heavenly Father gave me to the best of my abilities. I love to write and I love to read. Give me some Swedish Fish, sunshine, and a good book and I am one happy camper. Speaking of camping, I'd rather not. I love people. Every person is so valued in the sight of our Heavenly Father. I hope to own a business with my husband someday and be a great mom to a houseful of kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had too many experiences that confirm the truthfulness of this church and of the gospel to deny. I feel peace in my life as I live the principles the church teaches. I know that no matter the challenges I face, everything is going to work out and that God is aware of me. The scriptures, including the Bible and the Book of Mormon, are sources of guidance and answers to many of my questions and concerns. The Holy Ghost has confirmed to my heart and mind that it is true. I know that anyone can find these evidences and answers for themselves.

How I live my faith

Prayer is a huge part of my life. I try to be open with my Father in heaven and ask Him for help in conquering my many weaknesses. I try my hardest to live my life in a way that He and Jesus Christ would be pleased with. I am working on being more grateful for each day.
