Hi I'm Jordan Rock

Taiwan, Taichung Mission. I like Chinese, chopsticks, carbs, and can't forget cats. Native American (Navajo) From Minneapolis.

About Me

I am currently serving in the Taiwan, Taichung Mission. I attend the University of Minnesota. What I want to do with my life is to become a Youth Advocate Specialist. To me this means providing effort with an organization that properly accommodates younger generations to help them successfully succeed in what they love to do.

Why I am a Mormon

There are two reasons I'm a Mormon: the great people and teaching the Gospel. First, I have come across the greatest people I know. A significant quality I see in all of them is an understanding of self-improvement. In addition they are some of most friendly people I have ever met. I like to compare them to the old lady on the block who always gave you cookies but didn't you know anything about her. These are what the people I have came across are like. I know I am blessed with these people in my life because I belong to this church. The second reason I'm a mormon is teaching the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. When I was a Sophomore in college, I really wanted to know if this Gospel is true. As simple as it may sound, I prayed with a broken heart and contrite spirit to actually know if it is true. After many days of testing my faith I received my own personal answer. Ever since, I have had the most joy in my life, and I want to share this with others. I want them to feel the same joy I feel when I wake up and go to bed. I plan on doing this to my fullest potential by serving a 2 year voluntary mission in Taichung, Taiwan in April 2014. I am exceedingly glad I get to teach full time. I will return in May of 2016

How I live my faith

Trying my best to serve a diligent, faithful full-time mission in the Taiwan, Taichung city!
