Hi I'm Sophie

I'm happy. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a born and raised British LDS girl who just loves to have a good time. I am number 5 of 6 children to my incredible parents. I love to go on holiday and spend time with my loved ones. I'm a girl's girl who loves to shop, paint nails and go out for lunch. I am currently serving in the Australia, Perth Mission. I am constantly blessed in all I do, for which I am grateful to my Heavenly Father and to those around me. 'It's a Wonderful Life'.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. Living the standards of the Gospel and following the example of Jesus Christ have enabled me to find true peace and joy, which helps me to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. Through prayer, study and obedience to his commandments, we are all able to receive a witness of the truthfulness of this Gospel. We are so blessed to have a living prophet on the Earth today, President Thomas S. Monson, who receives direct revelation from our Heavenly Father for our generation. I know that he is a prophet of God because when I listen to him speak; I feel the love of God and a confirmation from the Holy Ghost that his message is true. I am grateful to have been raised in the Church as it has guided me, protected me and comforted me. I know that Christ atoned for me and that he is risen. He lives and he loves me. To show my love for him, I try to obedient to his teachings and share his gospel with others. We are all Heavenly Father's children; he knows us by name and loves us more than we can comprehend. I am so grateful to be a member of this Church and for the blessings I receive from it.

How I live my faith

Being a missionary for the Church, I currently spend all my days inviting others to come unto Christ and to receive the happiness and the blessings that I have been able to enjoy in my life. It is a privilege to serve and to share my testimony with those that I meet. One of my favourite commandments is to 'love one another as I have loved you.' This is what I am trying to do every day; to love every one and to help them to feel the love of God. My faith grows every day as I put it into practise by keeping the promises that I have made with my Heavenly Father.
