Hi I'm Lindsay

I live in Utah. I have a super fantastic family. I love to play the piano, sing, and go boating. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated college with a Bachelor's degree in Family, Consumer, and Human Development. I've learned so much about how important families are. I love music and spend lots of my time singing and practicing the piano and guitar. I love playing sports like basketball, soccer, and ultimate frisbee. I enjoy water-skiing in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter! I am married to an incredible man, from whom I learn and am strengthened so much!

Why I am a Mormon

Although I've been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all my life, I have come to have a strong testimony of the truthfulness of it. I believe in God and in Jesus Christ. The Holy Ghost has borne witness to me many times of their reality. Living the teachings of Jesus Christ as taught by our church leaders has brought me so much happiness in a world that is getting crazier every day. I try to depend on the Savior's atonement. I know that because He loves us, He suffered for our sins, our griefs and our weaknesses. Through His grace-His enabling power-we can be like Him. Our Church teaches that Jesus Christ was resurrected, that He lives! I believe this! Because of this, we will also live again. I firmly believe that although they have passed away, I will see my grandparents again. This has helped me in my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ is a gospel of happiness!

How I live my faith

One way I live my faith is by attending institute. I recently became an institute graduate- but I will still keep attending classes as long as I am able. I love learning about the gospel of Jesus Christ and feeling the spirit. I was part of the auditioned institute choir. Through this great choir, I was able to serve many, many people in the community, both through music and other means. Music is an incredible way to bring light into people's lives. My church calling was to be secretary to this choir of 87 voices. I have loved to learn from them, serve them, and feel of their support and friendship as we all strive to live more like our Savior. It has been a great strength to me throughout my college experience, a time when I probably need it more than ever. I now serve as a ward missionary with my husband. We always try to look for ways to share the gospel with others. It can be hard sometimes, but we keep praying that moments will present themselves and we can share our knowledge of Heavenly Father's plan with those around us.
