Hi I'm Hannah

I have six incredible brothers. I love to run. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised with my one older and five younger brothers in a beautiful place called Utah County. Although I so desperately wanted a sister, I have realized how much I enjoy and value the family I am blessed to be a part of. Watching chick flicks and was a rare occasion throughout my childhood but despite being outnumbered by brothers, the many sports and outdoor activities we spent time doing brought us closer together and has contributed in making us the best of friends. I love being outside; running anywhere but on a tredmill; marveling at the beauty of nature; photographing life's simple pleasures; and doing what I can to serve others.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been born in the covenant or to parents who were both active members, I had the incredible blessing of feeling the spirit as I learned and grew in the teachings of the doctrines of the gospel. It was small confirmations such as feeling the warmth and strength that came from bearing my testimony and from learning more about Christ and how the church was restored and organized that helped to confirm my decision that this church is true. Even while I was very young and learning to read, by reading the scriptures and Book of Mormon in particular, I was able to feel a good, calm, and happy feeling. As I've grown older it has become more clear that the Holy Ghost really does want to direct Heavenly Father's children, which is me and you, and to receive the gift of the Holy Ghost I decided that I wanted to be baptized. Blessings from following the teachings of the gospel and remembering the way I loved feeling the spirit helped to keep me determined to stay on the straight and narrow path. I love learning more about families being able to be together forever and understanding the purpose of my life. I love that the gospel is the solution and answer to any questions, problems, or doubts that I have. I do believe that Joseph Smith was a young boy when he spoke to God the Father and Christ and that he helped to bring the Restoration of the true and living church back to the earth. I am so blessed to have enjoyed being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my entire life and cannot think of anything that brings more happiness and peace from understanding. I know that I am a Child of God and that The Book of Mormon and other revealed scripture is a guide given directly from our loving heavenly parents to help me learn what I need to do to return to them. I believe in Christ and am so very grateful for His infinite love, mercy, and willingness to preform the Atonement so my mistakes may be forgiven. I know this gospel is true, test it out too!

How I live my faith

I strive to be the best person I can be and am grateful for the many examples I have been blessed to learn from. I am striving to develop Christlike attributes such as patience and diligence and look at others as Christ would. I enjoy serving those around me and try to live my faith by helping to lead out in youth groups and by participating in good activities with my peers. Having hope, faith, charity, and enduring to the end shows that I live my faith. By boldly sharing my belief in God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost and my relationship to them I exercise faith.
