Hi I'm Abbi

I grew up in Utah. I was called to serve a mission in Jacksonville, Florida. I love family.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I live in Utah. I love to dance and choreograph. I love nature and animals. My most precious time is spent with my family. I live with my mom and younger sister. We are very close and love to laugh and have fun together. I love food! I also enjoy running, music, and art. I like to read to calm me down. I love to learn new things and spend a good amount of time analyzing the mysteries of life. I will be serving a mission in Jacksonville, Florida for the next 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother was a convert to the church. She was baptized when she was 18. She always set a great example for my sister and I, and we were raised in the gospel. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. Even though I was raised in the gospel, this did not excuse me from trials. I have experienced hard things and overcame them. Through the love my Heavenly Father gives me, and the atonement of Jesus Christ my heart was healed and I was able to forgive. I love this gospel. Nothing in life has ever made me feel as whole as knowing that I am a true daughter of a Heavenly Father who loves me. My testimony is built upon the teachings and doctrines of the Book of Mormon. I know this book of scripture is true and that it is the word of God. When I read it I feel a peace and understanding that only the Holy Ghost can bring and it testifies to me of the truth written within those pages. I believe that as I am obedient to the commandments and will of God, he will bless me and my family. I know we are children of a loving Heavenly Father who knows us individually and wants us to return to live with him in heaven after we have fulfilled our purpose here on Earth. I am so grateful to be a part of this gospel. It has saved my life.

How I live my faith

I was asked to be a nursery worker, so for the last 6 months I had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with the young children in our church. They have the sweetest spirits and always put me in a good mood. I spent a lot of time working on setting and obtaining goals. Some of these included service projects, enhancing talents, doing family history, and many other things.
