Hi I'm Andrew

I have three children and a wonderful wife! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love family life, there is nothing I love more than coming home from work and spending time with my children whether that be going for walks with them, playing football with them or even just eating meals with them. And I get to do all this with the woman that I love every day! I feel very blessed to have the family that I have. I even work with my family! I care for my brother, who has autism, who needs 24 hour care. I support him in every aspect of life from shopping to going out on walks. It's a great job to be with your brother, who I have had a special bond with since I was very young.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church all of my life. My testimony is not based on one particular thing or a big 'wow' moment in my life. It has been the simple things in my life, the simple acts of kindness, of service, of love that others have shown me in my life that has blessed me. The simple, heartfelt testimonies that I have listened to and the 'coincidental' feelings that come from listening to these testimonies. I know of a surety that when I bear my testimony of the church or listen to others bear testimony that it is no coincidence that I feel a warmth within my heart that I know to be the Holy Ghost. There has been too many times in my life this has happened for it to be a 'coincidence.' Because of this, I know the church is true and I know that the promises and blessings that we read in the scriptures are true and I just think - 'why would you not want a piece of that?' I am a family man, I love my family with all my heart, and if the scriptures (which I know to be the word of God) tell me that I am going to be with them for my eternal life, if I follow the path explained in the scriptures, then that's what I am going to do! That's why I am a Mormon, to do my best in this life, so I can be with my family in the next life.

How I live my faith

For the past few years I have had the privilege to serve with the young men in the church in my ward. As Young Men President, I have been able to teach them on a weekly basis and in turn the young men have taught me so much! We also meet every Tuesday evening and have activities ranging from sports to doing service for people within our ward and even out in the community. I also go home teaching, which involves two priesthood holders going out and teaching family members in the home about the gospel. I have also been able to serve families in their home whether that be helping them move home or cleaning up their drive for the day. As I serve my own family, other families, the young men - I have developed a love for others that I believe you can only get through service.
