Hi I'm Alexandria Mueller

I'm a college student and book enthusiast. I'm passionate about life and sharing the Gospel with everyone! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've grown up all over America. I am now 21 and living in Utah. In May of this year (2016) I will be sealed to my fiance for eternity! I cannot wait to start an eternal family. I'm currently working and going to school at UVU,studying English, and hoping to become a journalist of sorts! I love music. I love to sing, dance, play piano and flute, run, and travel. I also love to write in my blog (asoulforaginger.blogspot.com)! Most importantly, I was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-Day Saints in January of 2013, and then baptized into the Church on April 6th, 2013. It has been the most incredible experience and I have found it to be the best decision I have ever made. I've been blessed beyond my wildest dreams and will live out my life so as to show my gratitude toward my Heavenly Father.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Christian home, but struggled with my faith just like everyone does, maybe even a little more. My life has had plenty of bumps in the road and I got hung up on them to the point of athiesm. Eventually, through a lot of love and a lot of personal searching, I came back to Christ and made an unspoken promise to Him that I would do what it takes to follow His will - no matter what. Something was missing from my faith, but I didn't know what until my friend introduced me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His faith, and his book, the Book of Mormon, answered my questions about my purpose in life, the way Christ's church should be set up, and more. Further, I saw in the Mormons a way of life that I craved - a service oriented, kind hearted, and full life following directly in the will of God. I had to be a part of that, and though it meant losing my home and most of my friends and family, I came into Christ's church on April 6th, 2013. I am a Mormon because I believe that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I am a Mormon because I believe that men and women have different but equal roles in life. I am a Mormon because nothing makes me happier than knowing that I am a daughter of Heavenly Father and am loved unconditionally by Him. I know that this church is true, and I know that if we pray and ask Heavenly Father for guidance, He will be a light to our path and comfort us in every moment of our lives!

How I live my faith

Life is hard. Life likes to throw curveballs at you at every second of every day, but He is always there. Even when you feel like you have no one, you have someone. That is what I try to keep in mind as I go throughout my days and do my best to serve the Lord in all that I do. I make a conscious effort to look at people and try to learn at least one new thing from everyone that I come in contact with, and share with them the light and comfort of this wholesome life that the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings. Being Christ-like is difficult, but attainable through prayer, scriptures, and following the commandments.
