Hi I'm Dallin Jay

Born & raised in the sticks of Idaho, I'm a country boy, I love the outdoors, I am serving in Rancho Cucamonga CA, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in south eastern Idaho. Born and raised a Mormon. I am an outdoor enthusiast! Pretty much anything that that gets my adrenalin going I like to do! But there is a place in my heart for just being out in mother natures world with nothing but what I can carry on my back, that really makes me feel the beauty of this earth. If there was one thing that I had to do for the rest of my life it would be going ham! doing all I can with my friends and family. Just being with family and friends, having a good time outdoors is what it all comes down to! I love Outdoors and want to pursue a career in that area! I love meeting new people and will be anyone's friend that lets me in!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church, so I lived off of my parents testimony and their faith for the beginning of my life, when I was about 16 I wanted to know if the LDS Church was true or not. So I started to read the Book of Mormon. I had a dirt bike and when I had a rough day I would come home and get on it and just open it up and cruse the trails behind my house! This was a way for me to get away from the world, so I went to a place in the mountains that was special to me, that I have been to many times to think and ponder, and began to pray to my Father in Heaven and ask if the LDS Church was true. It wasn't till a few weeks later when I was riding through a wheat field that I got the urge to stop and wile I was looking around at the golden wheat swaying in the wind and the sun starting to go down that it hit me I felt an overwhelming peace and joy that it was true. It was indescribable!! If there is one thing that I know it is that it is true and our Father in Heaven will answer your prayers! just give Him time and keep an open heart!!

How I live my faith

I love my faith, I give my 100% all the time and serve others at every opportunity I get! I get the Best feeling by serving others. And I know that sometime I feel the love of others best when I let them serve me! This faith is a way of life for me. It sets the standard in my life so I don't have to. I love my God!

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Dallin Jay
A testimony is the one thing that will always be with you and no one can take it from you, it is your own spiritual witness of a truth. For me it is a way to share what I believe and know to be true! Show more Show less
