Hi I'm Jessica

I'm from small town Idaho. I am a huge people person. I love being a Mormon!

About Me

Hi, my name is Jessica. I finished my Cosmetology education in Sept. of 2012. I don't currently practice it, but am on my way to help others feel beautiful. I chose to do Cosmetology because I am a people person. I love to talk, comfort, and be filled with fun and positive energy around me. Being a cosmetologist, I have to have that desire to want to help people feel more beautiful, and help them really come to love themselves and what God has blessed them with. I love to do and create interior designs. I hope to someday go to school to learn more about it and fulfill another dream I have. Decorating and creating embellishments for my home is something that not only I enjoy, but it is also one of my stress relievers. I'm able to create something beautiful that represents me and my love for decorating, and making the area I live, a place to be enjoyed and comforting. My dream vacation is to go to Rome, Italy. I have seen so many photos and heard so much about the beauty and history there. I also would love to someday travel to Paris, and see the Eiffel Tower! I have the most amazing, loving family I could ever ask for. I have 3 younger, sweet spirited siblings, and the most amazing parents. Without them, I would not be where I am today. My family means everything to me. There is no possible way to express to them how much I love them!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon. When I say that, I know who and what I am representing, who and what I am standing up for, and why. I have been a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ since I was baptized at 8 years old. Ever since I can remember, learning about Jesus and Heavenly Father has meant everything to me. I, on any occasion brought to me, will stand up for, defend, and be proud to set the example necessary that the Church stands for. I am so glad to be a daughter of my Heavenly Father. I am so proud to be a Member of His Church. I am so excited to share my testimony with anyone who is willing to listen. If it were not for this gospel, there would be no telling of where I may be. I follow His gospel to if not bring others unto it, to at least plant a seed in their hearts and mind. I have been through so many trials, alone and with my family, that I have come to learn and realize my faith in Heavenly Father is everything. I cannot go one day with out having faith in my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. They are the very reason I am so much stronger today, because of everything I have been through. I love them to such an extent that is unexplainable. This gospel is growing. It is growing because people know, when they learn about it, that it is true! No one can deny it if they are truly willing to learn. Whether they accept to be baptized or not, if they feel the spirit confirming the truthfulness of His gospel, they will not deny it. I am so blessed and so grateful to have the Holy Ghost as a constant companion in my every day life. I am so grateful Heavenly Father has helped me through trials I have gone through, am going through, and will go through. I know that because of Him and my Savior, I will make it through anything that comes my way. I love the Atonement that Christ has so willingly given me. I am so grateful I can use it in my life, and come to know my Savior better. I love this Church. I say these things, in the name of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

Currently, I am teaching the CTR 5 primary class. I teach some of the most sweetest and adorable children out there. Some day, I dream and hope to go on a mission. Teaching others of the gospel, and the blessings received from it, are all I want for others to enjoy. My family has had some amazing opportunities and experiences to bring others unto Christ. I have had the privilege to work at Deseret Book Co. and Distribution. Working there has strengthened my testimony and love for the gospel beyond what I thought was capable for myself. But, I now know that my testimony is continually growing and being strengthened each day. The friends made there, I know, will always be my eternal friends. They have lifted me up in ways unexplainable. The spirit is so strong and comforting, especially when in times of need. I have also been apart of the Beehive, Mia Maids, and Laural, Young Women presidencies (president, secretary, 1st and 2nd counselors, etc...)
