Hi I'm Zoë Page

I'm a wife, I'm a mum, I'm a singer. Most of all I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a full-time wife and mother to 3 children. My family is the most important thing in my life. Before having my kids I was a primary school teacher. I trained to teach music. I love to sing: anything; anywhere; anytime; if it helps to make the world brighter. I like photography, dance, theatre. I love food, I think of it as a hobby, trying new and exciting things to cook and eat! I am passionate about life and like to live at the top of my lungs (hence the singing).

Why I am a Mormon

Becoming a Mormon is the best decision I ever made. I grew up knowing there was something out there I needed to find, that there was some purpose I was supposed to be fulfilling. I had some limited Christian input from my family and school but never found what I was searching for. When I was 20 I found out about Mormons and their beliefs. I was certain I'd found home at last, but just to be sure, I did research into other religions as well. I prayed. I fasted. I got my answer. Since I became a baptised member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I have never looked back. My life has purpose and a clear direction. All the time I'm learning what my Heavenly Father wants me to do here and what special gifts He has given me to help me along the way. In turn, I get to help others find their way too. In short, life is amazing.

How I live my faith

Most recently, I have been a women's leader for a wide area, helping to train, support and organise events for locally based leaders. I visit women in their homes to show love, offer practical help and share spiritual messages. At home, my husband and I teach our children about our Faith by having daily prayers, reading from the scriptures and talking about our beliefs together. I attend church every week on a Sunday and on other weekday occasions. I sing (of course) in the church choir and at other events. I took part in The British Pageant: Truth will Prevail, a recently staged production about the early members of the church in Britain, their faith and the amazing sacrifices they made to be part of the Lord's work. That was an incredibly spiritual experience, it really boosted my testimony and gave me many opportunities to share my beliefs with others.
