Hi I'm Faletoa Elisala Sua

I'm a lover of Music, I'm the greatest Uncle ever, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Samoan kid who has a love for music that knows no bounds. Because of the way i was raised, i love to help people, even when i struggle myself sometimes. I'm the youngest of 5 kids, raised by a single mom who was working 2 jobs so that we had enough food on the table for all of us. Family is everything to me, and i would do anything for them. Being Samoan, i have a humongous family, so i have a lot of love. I struggle balancing life and the gospel but know that every trial i go through only refines me as a member of this church. My love for music is CRAZY. i listen to anything and everything: Kpop, Jpop, African, Spanish, Rap, Reggae, R&B, Country, Rock, Funk, House, Techno, Folk, Alternative, EVERYTHING! I have a theory that if it sounds good to me, i'll listen to it and love it.

Why I am a Mormon

In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus bleed from every pore. He suffered so much, and even hung on a cross on the hill in Calvary. He sacrificed his life so that I, Faletoa Sua, could return to my Father in Heaven. My life is a gift from God to me. What i do with my life is my gift to God. I am a Mormon because i believe this church and it's teachings to be true. I believe that Joseph Smith restored the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I believe that by following the commandments of the Lord and by living His teachings, i will one day return to my Heavenly Father. I am a Mormon because i believe that through the gospel, i will be able to live with my family eternally. Being apart of this church has given me hope beyond physical death. I am a Mormon because knowing these things makes me want to share it with everyone. Having these truths, and knowing its powers, drives me to share it with others so that they might too feel of His love for them. I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. i love it.

How I live my faith

I'm part of the FHE committee at my YSA branch here. Being apart of the committee has taught me how to be selfless and more giving to others whom i normally never associate with. I've grown to love as Jesus did more and more each day. I grew up with a lot of people making judgments about the choices i made and things i did, so i always thought the worst of people. But as i continue to make the atonement personal to me, i realize that my surroundings don't define who i am. I do. If others' opinions defined how we live our lives, Jesus Christ would have never have sacrificed himself for me. The more i realize that, the more i grow to love this gospel.
