Hi I'm Jason

I live in Australia. I work as a tennis coach while I save money for future University studies. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love most sports and ill play the ones i dont like because i like keeping active. I have an interest in health, fitness and nutrition. I play the guitar just as a hobbie and dont really perform to often. I enjoy exploring nature like going hiking or running along a river. I like walking my dog and have an interest in learning new talents and seeking oppurtunities to challenge myself. In high school my favourite subjects were maths and physics and i have always had an interest in technology and specifically computers. I am planning to study Software Engineering at University as it will allow me to continue my high school interests.

Why I am a Mormon

I'll start by saying being a Mormon is not just having a religion but it is living a lifestyle. I was born into this church and my parents always sayed they knew the church was true and so i was always brought along to the regular Sunday church meetings and raised knowing the principles of the church that my parents taught me. Although I followed my parents example and I believed that the church was true, I didnt know that it was true like how my parents had no doubt at all. I wasnt truely converted untill I decided to find out if the church was true myself and so in my early teens I prayed to find out if this church was true and before i could finish my prayer i felt a strong power come upon me so that i could no longer speak and I felt an amazing sence of peace and joy that i didnt have to question my belief anymore and that God was happy with my efforts to pray to him. I felt a burning desire like a fire that ignited inside of me to follow my God and to seek to get to know him better and make changes in my life to be the best person i can be for him. After i had this experience i have never looked back because as i follow the standards, guidlines and teaching of the church i can see that God blesses my life and helps me to become the best person i can be and I cant see myself achieving my full potential without the church in my life. When i put the church first in my life, everything else seems to fall into place.

How I live my faith

I like to start each day by reading teachings of my faith and saying a short prayer as it helps me to be in a positive state of mind to achieve my goals and overcome the challenges of the day. I attend a weekly scripture study lesson held at my church and a weekly youth activity which helps me keep busy and out of trouble. Once a month i visit five different families who belong to my church to share a brief gospel related message and fellowship eachother. I also attend the church each Sunday for the usual
