Hi I'm Justin

I grew up in San Diego. I'm a husband. I'm a sports fanatic. I love cars, books, and my wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a general manager for a pizza chain and I'm currently finishing up a masters degree in political management. I have an amazing wife and like the best dog ever. I love to watch sports, especially college football. I'm an avid follower of politics and the news. I have a great life that I wouldn't trade for anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't grow up a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, I became a member at age 27. We are all looking for truth and wisdom in this life, and one of the great things about Heavenly Father is that he allows us to receive these things from Him if we seek it (James 1:5). I started investigating the Church in a search for truth and I've been taken for a ride I never imagined. I turned my questions over to Heavenly Father in prayer and my life was forever changed because of it. There were far too many coincidences, answers to prayer, feelings of peace to deny what the Church was doing in my life. I saw that I was simply a better husband, son, friend, and person with the gospel in my life. I saw so much good coming from my experiences with the Church and knew that it could only come from God. I was scared though...what would my friends and family think? I just kept having the feeling that God wanted me to join this Church. I finally decided to make the decision to join, not having answers to a lot of questions. It was after this leap of faith that I given the most peaceful assurance from Heavenly Father that this Church was His Church. I knew I was doing the right thing. As I came up from the waters of baptism I felt more amazing than I ever have in life. I knew I had made the most amazing and correct decision of my life. Since then this feeling is confirmed more and more everyday. I love this Church and what it does in my life.

How I live my faith

I first off try to show love to everyone I can in the way described in 1 Corinthians 13. I believe every follower of Christ is called to love all people. I serve in my church by home teaching and serving with my wife in our calling of sacrament meeting coordinators. I love serving in any way I can and look forward to future callings and opportunities in the future. I attend the temple as much as I can which brings me closer to Heavenly Father than I ever thought possible. I try my best to keep the commandments and serve Christ in the best way I know how.
