Hi I'm Jeremiah

I Climb Mountains, I'm a Trail Runner, an Adventure Cyclist, a Telemark Skier and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah, the Rocky Mountains are in my blood. My family means everything to me. I love my dogs. My feet only let me wear sandals (I can't complain, I like 'em) I eat load of granola bars (healthy, cheap, pre-cooked). I believe that whole foods are good foods. Sometimes I sleep on a yoga mat. I ride my bike where ever I can, because fossil fuels really "burn". I aspire to sell clay pots, and ski for a living. I want to make a difference in the world, unfortunately skis and clay may not cut it.

Why I am a Mormon

It promotes steady self-improvement, peace and happiness I believe that continually cleansing our life, replacing the good with the bad, is key to a healthy life. My Faith helps me do this. Religion tends to attract much criticism and doubt. I've spent some tiime thinking about God. Science cannot prove that there is a God, I think that finding God is a personal quest and its led by the heart and soul. Pure religion is about being a good person. The LDS church is full of clarity and truth. I am a Mormon because living my faith helps me be a better person, and it feels right.

How I live my faith

My faith is not something that I live on Sunday alone, whether I am working, pursuing my passions, relaxing with my family its what I base my decisions on. My favorite place to worship is outside. Its where I am able to feel closest to our Father in Heaven. Nature has an uncanny knack for teaching us how to be better people, and I see God in Nature. I am currently serving a 2 year LDS religious mission in Sendai, Japan. I think that when you have something good its important to share it. The gospel of Jesus Christ promotes peace, respect, love and general goodness, something that humankind really needs. Being a Mormon is an integral part in every aspect of my life.
