Hi I'm Rebekah Jane Westover

I am from Southern California. I am a photographer. I love avocados. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the daughter of two wonderful parents, and the oldest of five siblings. I am very happily married to a wonderful man. I am terrified and very, very excited to be a mother someday. I am currently pursuing a degree in Business with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship, and a degree in Digital Photography. I am proud to be an American.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has provided me with countless opportunities for service and personal growth. It has helped me to come to know my Savior, Jesus Christ. It provides me with the support and peace I need in order to get through difficult times. It has helped me to look outside myself and to focus more on serving others. My family is the most important thing to me. I know that if I follow the teachings of my Savior, then I will be able to live with my family and my loved ones after this life. I believe that people are innately good. I believe in love. I believe in modern revelation and that our current prophet Thomas S. Monson is inspired of God. I believe in eternal families. But most of all I believe in my Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. It is difficult to follow all of the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, but it is worth it. I couldn't be happier with my decision to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by practicing the principles I believe in, no matter the circumstances. I know that each and every one of us on this earth is a son or daughter of God. I try to treat people in a way that helps them realize their infinite worth. I am far from perfect, but I am trying to live a life that I can be proud of, and a life that my Heavenly Father can be proud of.

What is the Relief Society?

Rebekah Jane Westover
The Relief Society is an organization of women in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints that was established in 1842 for the purpose of building faith and person righteousness, strengthening families and homes, and to help those in need. I am incredibly proud to be a part of the oldest and largest women's organization in the world. I have witnessed and been able to participate in service projects and every-day events that have changed lives, all due to the efforts of members of the Relief Society. I love that women from all walks of life can band together in such a wonderful organization whose purpose is to uplift and inspire. Show more Show less
