Hi I'm McCall Welling

I am a college student. I love to travel. I love to meet new people. I love to explore new cultures. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah as the middle of three children. I love boating, snowboarding, dancing, tumbling but most of all I have a passion for traveling. My family and I have been blessed with many opportunities to tour the world. My favorite parts about traveling are meeting new people, making lifetime friends, and exploring cultures!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have grown up with the gospel all of my life. Throughout my life I have been taught the principles, truths and promises that come from living the gospel as taught by Jesus Christ and I have seen it made manifest in my life. When I was a young girl my father challenged each member of my family to pray and ask our Father in Heaven in faith if what we had been taught concerning this church was true. That very night, alone in my bedroom, I fell to my knees and asked my Heavenly Father if this church was true. I cannot deny the overwhelming comfort and peace that filled my soul as soon as the words escaped my mouth. That was the first of many marvelous experiences I have had in this church. I have seen and felt how my life has been blessed with joy, peace and happiness when I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. I know I am not perfect and have made many mistakes in my life but each day I am so grateful for my Savior and for the atonement He has made for me and each of us to be able to repent of our sins and become closer to Him. I know that the Book of Mormon is true as I have read it, prayed about it and been directed by it. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that he restored Christ's gospel to the earth in these latter days. I can promise that following Christ and keeping the commandments can and will bring happiness and blessings to your life as it has in mine.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve in many leadership positions in the church throughout my life. The majority of these have been teaching positions where I plan and prepare gospel messages to share with the women in my church on Sundays. However, to me 'How I Live my Faith' goes beyond attending church each Sunday. It is how I choose to live and implement the truths and principles I have been taught at church. Each day I try to focus my thoughts towards Christ and his perfect example by serving others, reading my scriptures (which includes the Bible, The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants and more) and keeping the commandments He has given us.
