Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a Mormon. I love my family and the gospel. I sing, dance, play the piano, clarinet, and organ, act, compose, and write.

About Me

I am the second oldest of five sisters and one brother. I began singing nursery songs and other things by the age of two and didn’t ever stop. I have always had a fixation for music. By five, I had begun to play the piano, as taught by my mother. I began composing at six and still compose to this day. At ten, I took up the clarinet, taught by my father, and enjoyed playing in the band in junior high and high school. I began training my voice at thirteen. Recently, I began to play the organ. I am very creative! At ten, I directed my sisters in the musical Annie. (I played Oliver Warbux, Miss Hannigan, Rooster, and Lily.) I also enjoy dancing, decorating cakes, and set and costume designing. I enjoy writing stories and musicals as well as reading. I also love service. I love my family! As a child, I created many clubs for my sisters and me. Also with my family, I love to travel and have been to Japan, Canada, Mexico, and thirty five of the United States, including New York. On my travels, I enjoy hiking and camping. I love sports, especially basketball and baseball.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and know it's true. I have felt the Holy Ghost testify to me the truths taught to me in the gospel. I have a testimony of my Savior and His atonement. I know our current prophet is a servant of God. I love the fact I can be with my family forever. I know my Lord and Savior love me and I love them. I am a Mormon because I am happiest when I follow the counsels of the Lord.

How I live my faith

On my Dad's mission, his president suggested a study plan for scripture study: pray for ten minutes, read for ten minutes, then write impressions given by the spirit for ten minutes. I've tried to utilize this in my personal scripture study. I also make it a point to attend church, the temple, institute, and other church activities. I do my best to magnify my callings and pray to ask for help and express gratitude. I try to serve those around me.
