Hi I'm Gabriella Paongo

I am a Tongan. I love my family, my culture, my life, food, having fun. I love it all. I am a Mormon....and I love being a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, a sister, an aunt, a friend and a servant of the Lord. I live to love and love to share. I love my family, and most importantly, I love what my family has blessed me with. They have blessed me with the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a Pacific Islander, more specifically, a Polynesian, but if we want to be exact, I am Tongan. I love life and all that comes with it. "Come what may and love it". I enjoy just about everything you can do outdoor. I love sports. I'm a big fan of trying out new things; and that goes for everything and anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. I guess I can say that initially, I was a Mormon because of my parents but I still am a Mormon because I have grown to know and love what the gospel has blessed me with. The gospel blessed me with the true meaning of family, happiness, and the purpose of living. I have a strong and a loving relationship with my family because we live the gospel and follow its guidance. The knowledge that family can be together forever provide comfort in the dark days that we have lost our loved ones. I know true happiness because I have witnessed it, and experienced it. Knowing why I'm here and where I'll be going has provided me with the right direction and the comfort I needed when nothing seems to go right. I am deeply grateful for this knowledge and wish to share it with all. Come and experience for yourself!

How I live my faith

I'm not perfect so there are times I would slip in the way that I live my faith; although, I do strive at it with the best that I can do. I read my scriptures and no written words can touch my heart the way these written words on the scripture does. I say my daily prayers in gratitude and plead with my Heavenly Father with whatever trial troubles me. I attend church meetings as they provide guidance to help me become a better recipient of our Heavenly Father's will's of me through the Holy Ghost. As of right now, I am preparing myself to share our Heavenly Father's message with the people of Illinois, Chicago as his representative, and a sister missionary.
