Hi I'm Nancy Janette Hopkins

I moved a lot when I was a kid. I now live in Utah and am going to school to be a nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love history, reading, and classical music. I played the violin for six years. I also enjoy walks and hikes, so much so that I will do either in just about any weather. My family and I go camping as much as we can. We like to go up in the mountains as well as four-wheeling at the sand dunes. My family is everything to me, I love them very much. I am working towards becoming a nurse and am hoping to specialize as a cardiologist nurse for children. My littlest brother has a heart defect and is the reason for my desire to specialize as a cardiologist nurse.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church but my family and I haven't always been the most faithful at attending church. Life, indeed, happens. At about twelve years old I began to realize how much I needed Heavenly Father and His gospel. So, I began making church and young womens activities a priority. By attending church and going to the various activities that my leaders prepared for us I felt Heavenly Fathers love for me. The thought of my future children and husband also keep me going. I know that Heavenly Father loves us dearly, He hears and answers our prayers. And He is ready to bless us with whatever we stand in need of. He is our Father! Many blessings are in store for us and many have already been given.

How I live my faith

Each Sunday I attend the three hour block as well as any necessary meetings. An hour of each Sunday evening is also set apart to attend Ward prayer where we meet new members of the ward and pray as a ward for a list of people who are in any type of need. We are a ward family and care a great deal for one another. Once a month my ward and I attend the temple.
