Hi I'm Stan

I grew up in Edinburgh, Scotland, I love football (real kind where you use your feet) I'm a Mormon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

About Me

I am a married father of four brilliant children. I love watching Hibernian FC with my family. I love art and enjoy baking, especially birthday cakes. I work with homeless people and have the best job in the world. I have never read the Harry Potter books. My family mean the world to me. I became a Mormon aged 18 years old. I have had my fair share of the other side of life and always felt somewhat lost. All my friends know I am a Mormon. I love Ska music and will not watch reality tv. My favourite food is my wifes home made meatloaf. My oldest son has completed his mission in London England and my second oldest son is currently serving his full time mission for the church in his home mission Scotland/Ireland Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I love what being a Mormon gives me in my life, I was converted through my wife who was my girlfriend - we met aged 16 and she taught me how to pray and how to be happy through the Gospel. I love being a Mormon - Heavenly Father gave his only begotten Son for me and as a father I can only imagine how that felt. I am eternally grateful for Jesus Christ and the Prophets we have today who give us continual guidance. I love my Saviour and am so grateful to have him as the centre point of my family's lives.

How I live my faith

I currently teach a Sunday School class in the church - the kids are aged around 10 -12 - my wife and I have both been assigned to teach these kids. I enjoy visiting with the members in my home ward and often accompany my wife to visit people - We enjoy having our friends over for dinner and this normally means my wife gets me to cook. I enjoy Family Home Evenings where my kids and my wife and I have a family night which is always full of fun and lessons about Our Saviour.
