Hi I'm Jason

Hi my name is Jason I love a computer's hardware and software. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a big nerd/techie I love messing around with old and new computer hardware and messing around with the software. When new technology hardware comes out I am super excited and can't wait to try it out or see some reviews of it and where its going to go in the future. I also enjoy the outdoors and photography there is always something new to see and in different ways you would have never noticed unless you were actually looking for it. I like to do graphic design on the side sometimes I find it is a great way to express yourself and help others do the same with their logos and designs. I have always loved the Idea of travel and meeting new people. One of my goals in life is to go around the globe to different places and maybe even introduce some people to the gospel that might have never had the chance because of where they live. It has helped me in my life so much and I love it with all my heart and I want others to have the chance to have the joy and peace I have received.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a deep thinker and one of the biggest things that has brought me to know that this church is true is death. Being in a city where older people are a big part of the community I get o see a lot of them pass a way. I came to the conclusion that there is no way that this life is it, it just does not feel right there has to be more. A few years ago I had a nephew that had seizures for unexplained reasons he had gotten better over the years but the Sunday after his fifth birthday we got a call on the phone. My sister was telling my mother to get over to her house right a way it was a slew of panic that I didn't really have have time to realize what happened. My nephew had died in his sleep most likely was smothered when he had a seizure in the middle of the night. Now something to know about me is I hate funerals, everyone is sad and a lot of the time I cry but this time was different. When I walked up to his casket I didn't feel sorrow but joy I had to check myself, he was dead why was I happy? I was then and there I realized that this is not it there is a second life and its a happy one. My nephews joy and love for us was spilling over into this life. This alone brought me so much comfort and joy and it gave me the testimony that this is the true church and what I was doing was right this was the way I was suppose to go. I am so happy now that I have the fullness of the gospel in my life, it has been a light in dark times and I know others can feel that same light.

How I live my faith

I live in a small town and in our ward we have very few youth so most of the time while growing up I was the youth leader. It was a great opportunity to learn how to plan events, camp outs and service projects. It is often our job to take the sacrament to the ward members who are unable to come because their age prevents them from making it to church. It is a amazing thing to see their faces light up when they realize they have not been forgotten. The older people in our ward always have great stories to tell they have lived in this town most if not all of their life and it really adds to the town knowing what it use to be and how it has changed. Currently I have decided to serve a mission for the church I have been called to serve in Taiwan speaking Chinese. I am so excited to share what I have been given and give others the chance to get to know God. I am willing to do anything to help them on their way to a happy life.
