Hi I'm Hannah Boyd

I love missionary work, Canadians, black and white keys, and smiling.

About Me

I like to smile. These things make me smile the most... -My family -My friends -The Book of Mormon -Music -Volleyball -BEING A MISSIONARY!!! I am currently serving In the Canada, Edmonton Mission, and it brings me so much joy to see other people change their lives and come closer to our Saviour. He makes me smile the most.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel of Jesus Christ is a gift. It blesses my life every day. I have read the Book of Mormon. I prayed. I asked God from the bottom of my heart, If it is true. Through challenges that I've faced, I've learned that the best way to handle life and grow is to rely on the Saviour. He has given us the gift of the Atonement. He hurt, bled, and suffered for our sins. He has felt every sorrow we have. Because of the Holy Ghost, I know Christ lives. I know the Book of Mormon is scripture. I know that God has blessed us with prophets, and that Jesus Christ's church has been restored through a Prophet, Joseph Smith. I am incredibly grateful to know through the Holy Ghost that there is life after death. We can and will see our loved ones again. The Gospel of Jesus Christ makes sense. It is true. I just know it is. I can't explain with words how I have come to know these things, but anyone can know if they sincerely pray and ask for an answer to their own personal questions. God has all the answers. And he does not ignore us.

How I live my faith

As I serve as a full time missionary, I find that the best way to live my faith is to strive for Christlike charity and love. It's not easy, but it's what I work for every day. Smiling is a good thing to do too.

Are Mormons Christians?

Hannah Boyd
Christ is the center of the church. He is my Saviour, and I can't even describe the amount of love I have for him. He suffered for the sins of the world. He knows each of us personally, and knows exactly what we go through. It is comforting to know that I am not alone, when I am struggling. I am Mormon, and I know Christ lives. He is the ultimate example. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

Hannah Boyd
The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the biggest blessing any of us have in our lives. Our Saviour, Redeemer, and perfect example suffered. He carried our burdens. It brings me great peace, happiness, and comfort to know that he felt the pains that I feel. He knows me. He loves me. Not only did he feel my joys and sorrows, but he felt those of the whole world. This was essential to God's plan. God has a plan for each of us. Great trials and weaknesses are part of that plan, so we can learn. We do and will continue to make mistakes. Because of Jesus Christ's Atonement, we can feel peace and gain strength to make it through anything life throws at us. We apply the gift of the Atonement in our lives through repentance and become clean over and over again. What a marvelous gift this is. Show more Show less
