Hi I'm James

I play sports, guitar, I love cars and I'm a Mormon from Orem, Utah.

About Me

I attended Orem High and served a mission in Washington DC. I love music, playing and watching sports and I obsess over cars. I am currently studying mathematics at Utah Valley University.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are Latter-Day Saints so I grew up Mormon, but I have a testimony of my own. I have seen countless times the Lord's hand in my life and in the lives of others.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving the Lord for two years and trying to bring others to Christ and to the happiness that I have.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

In Matthew 28:19 The Lord says "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". The entire New Testament is dedicated to this very purpose. Bringing the gospel to everyone, Jew or Gentile. In one of my favorite quotes from Joseph Smith, he says “After all that has been said, the greatest and most important duty is to preach the Gospel.” Mormon missionaries want so badly to share the happiness that comes from the restored Gospel. So, we dedicate two years (18 months for Sister missionaries) from our busy lives to spend full-time finding and teaching people about it. Show more Show less
