Hi I'm Leah

I'm a twenty-one year old Swiftie with a love for Christmas, Netflix and hand-written letters. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Leah, I am from South London, England. I have two brothers, one of whom has recently returned from serving a mission in Sweden. I was born into the church whilst my parents were converted. I struggle with anxiety and mild depression, however, it does not stop me from appreciating and enjoying everything I have. I love sharks, Netflix, Christmas and playing the guitar and ukulele!

Why I am a Mormon

I've been brought up in the gospel, and I had been reliant on my parents testimonies of the church, but as I've got older and began to experience more of life, I've felt the need to find out for myself if the church was true. I love being involved with the church, and I appreciate everyone in it. People are kind-hearted and caring. They live to be the best that they can be, and they inspire me to do the same. I have a strong testimony that I am living the right standards. I believe in God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost. I know that they have helped me countless times in my life, and I am grateful.

How I live my faith

The church is run completely by those who volunteer their time to serve others, and everyone has the opportunity to do something to help. I have taught classes, given talks in front of my ward, and been actively engaged in the youth programme which encourages us to become the best that we can be. As a ward we get involved with service projects, and I've had the opportunity to give my time to help many good causes, which has taught me how fortunate I am and that I can make a difference by helping other people. I love the feeling I get when I share the gospel with someone who doesn't know about our church, and it encourages me to do it more often.
