Hi I'm Brad Lindsay

I grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona. I wrestled at Arizona State University. I am now serving a full-time mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I learned to shoot a bow and arrow when I was five years old and I have always loved it. One of my favorite hobbies is shooting my bow in my back yard or going hunting with it. In sixth grade I started wrestling, and I fell in love with the sport immediately (Enos 1:2-3). I am now a two-time Arizona state champion and I wrestled one year for Arizona State University. I studied Aeronautical Engineering in the hopes of becoming a pilot for the Air Force. Above anything else, my family is the most important thing to me. My sister is my absolute best friend and I've always been close to my family. I am currently taking a break from wrestling and school to serve a full-time mission in Spokane, Washington. I have never felt closer to God than now when I give all of my time to invite others to come unto Him. I love life and I have comfort in it because I know my purpose, and I know God's plan for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe that I would not be the kind of man that I am today without Jesus Christ's restored gospel. The teachings that this church gives is the reason I live such a healthy and successful life. Whenever I am going through hard times I know that I always have my Heavenly Father to guide me and ease my burdens. I have felt His influence in my life and I know that anyone who desires happiness and joy can receive it through His restored gospel in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full-time mission in the Washington Spokane Mission. Out here I am able to fulfill the purpose to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel. Every day my faith grows as I serve and give these two years of my life in the service of God and my fellow men.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Brad Lindsay
Think about it. This is God's church, so who better to learn the truth from than the head of the entire church? God is the source of all truth so of course he knows all truth. Therefore, if you simply study out the doctrine of the church (the Book of Mormon and the words of the prophets) and ask your Heavenly Father in prayer if it is the truth, with real intent to act upon your answer, then He will tell you the truth. As you listen with your heart and feelings, you will receive your answer. I know this because He answered me. And He answers everyone who will soften their hearts and earnestly ask Him, in the name of Jesus Christ, if this church is not His. Show more Show less
