Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in/near Wichita, Kansas, in the United States of America.

About Me

I enjoy making knives from bars of steel and wood for the handles.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the church but, have grown to have a testimony and am currently preparing to go into my Mission, I entered the MTC on September 18, 2013! So excited!

How I live my faith

I was a teacher in our Priesthood and President of our Sunday School. I am currently in the MTC and continuing to prepare to Invite others to come onto Christ! - It's been a year since I got my Missionary call or call to serve and I just wanted to share my Testimony: I know that God loves his children. That is one of the first things that I truly learned during my time as a Missionary. I've tried to be His instrument in helping to show His love to His children. That's actually one of the first things that I do when I'm meet new families... I start making friends with their kids. Kids are so much fun to play with. (Being the 3rd of 12 kids, I've got some experience) I just love the pure joy that they have and show. Not a care in the world, just life. I've tried to exemplify that joy and love. There are many times in the Scriptures where we are told to be as little children. I believe this is what it means to be as little children. I know that God loves them so, why shouldn't I? One of the things that we first start "teaching" about, as Missionaries, is families. Why do you think that is? Because they're the most important part of our time on Earth (in my opinion). God gave us parents so that we could be raised well and taught to be good people. I know that's what my parents taught me! They probably had to teach me the same thing a few times but I got it eventually. (I'm kind of thick-headed, just ask my dad ;) ). Growing up in my family was surely a Blessing. I believe that God put me in such a family to help me to go on a Mission. I truly think that God did this to prepare me to help his children, whatever their age may be, to come unto him. After all, that's the purpose of Missionaries, to help, uplift, and invite others to do things that will help them to come closer to their Father in Heaven. ... What is faith?

I believe: Faith is a belief in something or someone beyond the natural senses. You just know to trust and have a peace of mind when your faith is well placed. Show more Show less
