Hi I'm Rachel Stapp

I grew up in Michigan. . I am a mormon.

About Me

I LOVE to travel and see new places but my favorite part about traveling is the people. I love to see how differently people live and how they find happiness and joy through their culture. I love talking to people about whatever they want to talk to me about and more times than not, find myself genuinely interested in what they are telling me. I love adventure and if I had it my way, would go sky diving or raft down a river every single morning... just to get things going. I love to read and don't feel complete unless I am in the middle of a good book. I could eat forty bags of Riesen's a day and am obsessed with rain. I know everyone says this but I seriously, really do love my family and this gospel with my whole heart!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Mormon but is wasn't until about a year ago that I actually became converted to the church. It was when I started to understand the atonement and develop a relationship with my Heavenly Father that I really knew that this was the church that I wanted to belong to. When I finally came to God with all of my questions, doubts and worries, and was really real with him, he transformed me in ways that I cannot explain. I felt his love so strongly and received so many answers to my prayers, not always in the ways that I wanted but I had to learn (and am still learning) to trust in God's will and timing for me. The more I study about this gospel, the more my testimony grows and the more I see the goodness and greatness of God.

How I live my faith

I will be living my faith by serving as a full-time missionary in the Utica, New York mission.... I leave in three days! I couldn't be more excited (and not gonna lie, nervous) to share the gospel that has brought me so much peace with the people in upstate New York!
