Hi I'm Dee

I grew up in Utah. I am a nurse. I love working with people.

About Me

I come from a family of 7 children. I am the youngest. I have a great family. I am currently an registered nurse working at a local hospital. I enjoy volunteering and giving back to the community. I love basketball, football, four-wheeling and mountain biking. I am single and look forward to getting married and having a family of my own someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because everything about being a Mormon is about trying to live and be like Christ. Christ is the center of my life. I have learned to truly appreciate his life He gave for me, and for all of us. I chose to be a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because this church gives me the best chance to become more like my Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Right now, I participate in the our religion effort to share our beliefs with others. We are a community of young single adults and I have the opportunity to invite others out to events and activities we have. I teach a class in my church called, "gospel principles". We talk about the fundamental principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and how we can improve our lives to exemplify the life of Christ.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

The easiest way for me to describe my lifestyle is to ask a question. If Christ were teaching you personally, like he did his apostles, how would He want you to live? How would Christ teach you to live? When we think of it this way, this is really how Mormons should live their lives. So, when I think of these questions, I think of studying the gospel, praying to God everyday, serving others, keeping all of God's commandments, treating others how Christ would treat others, and using God's authority to preach His gospel to all the world. In my everyday life, I try to implement my life how I would think Christ would implement his. This is how Mormons live. Show more Show less
