Hi I'm Aries Maligon

I'm a chemical engineering student. I'm going to England Birmingham Mission to serve as a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a member of this church since I was born. I am currently a college student, taking up chemical engineering course. I do play basketball and table tennis. I will serve as a full-time missionary in England Birmingham Mission because I know that it is the best thing to do at this period of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born of parents who were already members of the church. I grew up in this church, and learned good principles since I was very young. As I grow up, I apply these teachings from the gospel of Jesus Christ and I find that this truly is His church here on earth. I studied the Book of Mormon and found it to be true. These things I learned step-by-step until I earned this testimony that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I am the ward Young Men Second Councilor, which means that I am an adviser to young men 12-13 years of age. I am also the Stake Assistant Clerk-Technology Specialist. The latter calling is an exciting one for me since I consider the good use of technology to be part of my conversion.

Do Mormons practice polygamy?

Aries Maligon
We currently do not practice polygamy since it was officially announced by President Wilford Woodruff in 1890. It was then a commandment to the early saints, but was then stopped as commanded as received by the prophet through revelation. Anyone who practices polygamy in this church will be facing excommunication. Thus, no one in this church currently practices polygamy. Show more Show less
