Hi I'm Jake

I'm a student. I'm a musician and a debater. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived all over the country. I have finished up high school in Utah and Graduated from the Davis High School Class of 2013. I am in my high school band and on my high school debate team. I have marched in the Rose Parade with my high school band. I enjoy sports and socializing with friends. Right now, I have been called to serve in the California Sacramento Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because as I have lived the gospel, I feel happy and I am blessed. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know that we have living prophets and apostles on the earth today that help guide us in our lives. I know that as we follow the commandments, we can be able to feel lasting joy and happiness and we are blessed. I know that God loves us and wants to help us in all our trials and challenges. The price I have paid through challenges and trials to become acquainted with God the Father, Christ His Only Begotten Son and the Holy Spirit were a privilege to pay, and I would not give it up for anything and everything in the World.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. I try to always follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as I serve in callings in my ward. I am a home teacher and I assist my Bishop in his presiding over the youth of my ward. I always strive to love others and follow Christ.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Mormons live very normal lifestyles. We work, go to school, and do most of the same things that most people do. We know that because of the Savior and His Atonement that we can be happy in any circumstance and that we can help others to feel that same happiness. Show more Show less
