Hi I'm Kaci

I am a girl who simply loves life. I enjoy spending time with loved ones, meeting new people, learning, working, and playing hard.

About Me

I was born and raised in Orem, Utah by a fun, loving family. As a young girl I fostered a healthy love of people, learning, sports, and fun. I was involved in many activities and groups as a young girl and teenager. After leaving high school, I embarked on my first adventures by going on a service trip to a thrid world country, and then by attending college far away from home. I then moved back to Utah and began studying nursing at Brigham Young University. Halfway through the program, I left my family and friends to serve as a missionary in southern Chile. The experience I had there, and the people I met changed me for the better. I have since returned to my studies in Utah and am currently in my last semester of college. I will then go on to bigger and better things! Though it's hard to imagine my life becoming any better than it already is, I have high hopes and big plans for the future. I hope to work as a nurse and touch many lives through selfless service. I also plan to one day start my own family and pay forward all the blessings I have received in my life to my own posterity. With the gospel, life is a beautiful thing. I am so grateful to have it in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. It is the only church that contains the fulness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon is a true book. More true than any other book ever written. It tells us about Christ and the sacrifice He has made for us. The spirit has testified to me that this book is true. I know that because Jesus Christ suffered for us, we can repent, become clean, and return to live with our Heavenly Father again. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon through divine revelation and that he was called of God to restore God's ancient church on the earth again. We continue to have true prophets and apostles today who receive revelation from God. President Thomas S. Monson speaks for the Lord on the earth today. I know that if I follow the prophet's counsel, I will be blessed and I will be happy. I know that temples allow us to make promises to God that will allow us to be blessed and return to live with Him again. They allow us to be with our families and loved ones forever. Temples bring the greatest peace and happiness anyone can ever feel. I know that the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings happiness. That is why I am a Mormon. I feel indescribable happiness when I follow the Lord's commandments and live in accordance with the gospel. I have felt the spirit's influence and that is how I know of a surety that this church is true. I know we can all repent, be forgiven, follow the Savior, and live with Him again in a state of complete happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving every day to live with true charity. This begins by praying to God and studying His word every morning. This helps me to feel peace and confidence, and it gives me guidance for the day. I then go out into the world and work my hardest at school and work. As I fulfill my responsibilities, I do my best to reach out to those around me, and help them to have a better day. I know that I have been given a life so that I may give it back to all those around me. I will participate in things that I enjoy, like sports and social events, but I try to always look around me for opportunitites to serve others. No matter where I go, I can show charity to those around me. I can live my faith and be a light in the world.
