Hi I'm Jace

I grew up in Arizona. I love soccer. I'm a newlywed in college. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was married in the Fall of 2016 to my wife Emily. She and I are both students in college and we are both working part-time as well. I am studying Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics, with the hope of someday working in genetic research. In the little free time that I have, I love playing soccer, spending time with my wife, and learning everything about everything!

Why I am a Mormon

For me, I've always been interested in being the best that I can be. I've found that that the principles taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints help me to become a better, happier person. I have been blessed to see the changes that the restored gospel of Jesus Christ can bring to the lives of the people that accept it, and I have been able to learn for myself that these principles are of God.

How I live my faith

From 2013-2015 I got to serve as a full-time missionary in Argentina, where I was blessed to get to meet and serve many wonderful people. More recently, I have participated in church as a secretary, and also as a teacher for our class for 4-5 year olds. Having been recently married, I also get to live my faith by having gospel discussions and scripture study with my wife, as we try to learn how to invite Jesus Christ into our home.

What is faith?

Jace
We read in the scriptures that faith is to "hope for things which are not seen, which are true." Faith is what leads us to act in one way or another, whether that means we go to Walmart because we have faith that they can sell us everything we need or we go to church because we have faith that it will help us become more like Christ. Really, faith is connected to every action in one way or another, which is why so many mormons live the way they do. We have faith in the principles we teach, so we apply them to our lives. Its something that comes with time, effort, and experience, but its well worth it and the blessings are sure to come. Show more Show less
