Hi I'm Jacob

I like running, sports, the outdoors, adventures. I am studying Civil Engineering in College...And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an active, outgoing person. I love hiking, running, camping, and pretty much anything in nature. I have moved around a lot, and everywhere I go I try to find beautiful geographical creations unique to each place I have lived. I served a full-time two year mission to the Philippines Cauayan Mission. I gained a new love for eating rice, but mainly a love and respect for the wonderful people there. I enjoy singing and playing the piano. I enjoy math and science, which is why I am studying to become a Civil Engineer, with an emphasis in Water Resources.

Why I am a Mormon

I have never felt more peace and love than when I live the principles taught by Jesus Christ in the Bible and Book of Mormon. When I listen to modern day Prophets I feel the Holy Ghost witness to me that this is the true church and as I continue to feel these powerful spiritual confirmations that I am doing the right thing I want to share that knowledge with others. I know this is Christ's church, and I will follow the Master's teachings forever. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I want to return to God's presence, and this church has shown me how I can. It is the same way Christ established when he lived on the earth, and his way will never change.

How I live my faith

I actively participate in my local congregation and love serving others. I feel the happiest and the most Christlike when I am serving others the way Jesus Christ would serve. I strive to do my best to emulate his example and be his hands in order to be an instrument in his hands.
