Hi I'm Dallin Hazelgren

Raised in Utah, now living in Arizona. I play soccer. Called to serve in the El Salvador San Salvador East Mission.

About Me

I play soccer and my favorite hobbies are to snowboard, longboard, wakeboard, and I guess just physical activity in general. On July 24 I will be leaving to serve an LDS Mission in the El Salvador San Salvador East Mission, spanish speaking, and I report to the Mexico Missionary Training Center. Upon my return from my Mission, I will be attending Southern Utah University.

Why I am a Mormon

I recently moved from Utah to Arizona and it was extremely hard to say goodbye to all my friends that I had known my entire childhood. This was hard because I am still in High School and starting over is never easy. However, this move has really strengthened me and helped me rely on the importance of my family and also reinforced in me that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and knows me. Everything happens for a reason, we may not know what is in store for us or why something happens, but God does. He knows exactly what to put in our path to make sure we will eventually be happy. Trials arise but I like this quote: "The harder the conflict, the greater the triumph!" I know that through Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ, we can find happiness in life and find out what life is really about. I know that prayer connects us to our Father in Heaven and also THAT HE HEARS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US! He knows us individually and knows our needs, and he listens to us to help us. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and he restored Christ's Church once again on the Earth. I know that just like in olden days, we have a prophet on the earth today that leads and guides us. I know that living this gospel will bring us happiness and will prepare us to meet our Heavenly Father. These are the things I truly know, and I love my Father in Heaven and His son Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I go to church and I love being around the people there. They make me very happy and I leave with a feeling of belonging and happiness. I also participate in activites with other guys in my church that are around the same age group as me, and we have activities every week that are super fun! I'm pretty friendly so I try to make friends with as many people as I can around my area. I was recently the 1st Assistant, or leader, of my group of guys in my church. I look to get kids my age to have fun and find happiness by being around others.
