Hi I'm Liz

I grew up in Massachusetts and now live in London. I am a new mum of a 7 month old little girl and I am Mormon.

About Me

I am a new mother and love it! My husband and I love traveling and exploring the city we live in. We also love to eat! Finding fun places with good food is so much fun.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents, grandparents and great-grandparents were all Mormon, but that is not why I am one today. It is because of the love I feel from my Heavenly Father when I am at church and doing what I know is right. I believe that Joseph Smith did see God and Jesus Christ and that the Book of Mormon is a true testament of Jesus Christ. I am so grateful to know why I am here on Earth and that I can return to see my Heavenly Father again some day. That is so powerful and I will teach my children that they are also loved my their Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I love being part of a community that serves each other. Moving to a new place and then having a baby would have been so much harder if it has not been for those that reach out and befriended me. I love that I am able to help others as well. Through the visiting teaching program I have met women that I may not have originally been drawn too. I currently help organise activities for the ladies in my congregation. We get together to have fun, learn and grow spiritually. I have had other jobs that have taught me so much, including the being the choir director and president of the children's organization.

Are Mormons Christians?

Liz
I am so grateful for the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for each of us on the cross. I know that He lives now and that He is my brother and Savior. I am a Mormon and believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that he died so that I can be forgiven of my sins and faults when I repent. Show more Show less
