Hi I'm Richard Cannon

I live in the UK and very happy to be a Mormon. I try to help others.

About Me

I am from the South West of England. I love different cultures and learning about them. I love to watch rugby and funny shows. I run a business that tries to help people in all countries. My parents joined the church when I was three. I served a full time mission in the California Los Angeles Mission. I love the gospel and how it makes me feel

Why I am a Mormon

I haven't always been converted to the Gospel. Although I attended many years and served a mission, my true conversion came when I decided to truly live the Gospel and show my gratitude for the atonement by living a good life. I was amazed that I could be forgiven for all my errors, mistakes and wrong doings and more amazed by how I felt when that forgiveness became effective in my life. I want to share how I feel and all I know with others and help them to find what I have found - my own self worth.

How I live my faith

Knowing that I am a son of God helps me to reach my potential. I am trying my best to keep the commandments, so I can find true happiness in my life. I view God's commandments as blessings. I know that Heavenly Father will be mindful of those who seek Him. Example is the best teacher. Living what I know to be true is really important to me.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Richard Cannon
We believe, I believe, the families are forever. Not only are the bonds of family there for this life but possibly for eternity if we live our lives right and accept the great gift of the atonement in our lives and teach our families how to do the same. The difference between all we need to do to return to Father and all we actually do, can, if we accept the atonement and live our lives showing such acceptance, be made up by our brother Jesus Christ. He has already paid the price and suffered for us not only to atone for our wrong doings or non doings but also He has experienced all that we will or can go through so that He might understand our plights. He loves us and wants His family to return to live with Father too. Show more Show less
