Hi I'm Becky

I'm from Utah. I'm the oldest of Five. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary for our church in Minnesota. I grew up in Utah, but have lived in Oklahoma and Nevada as welll. I went to college before my mission, and will continue to go afterwards. I love spending time with my family! I am the oldest of 5 children, and my siblings are some of my best friends! I love the importance of families in our church! It really is one of the greatest blessings that we have been given! I love playing the piano, going on vacation, spending time with my friends, staying up late, designing on Photoshop, and eating anything chocolate!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace and joy I feel from it. I had a sister go through some medical problems a few months ago and we didn't know what was going to happen. I remember being so scared and not knowing what to say or do. As I prayed, the peace and comfort came. My sister ended up being ok, but I still remember the peace and comfort I received throughout the unknown. I know that this church blesses lives, and I know that my family can be together forever. That is a huge blessing to me, knowing that no matter what happens to my family, they will always be my family, throughout this life and the next. The temples are huge strengths in our lives and I am so grateful to be able to go there and receive the blessings that we receive there. It is a holy place, and the blessings there are amazing. I love this gospel. Everything just makes sense. We have a loving Father in Heaven that blesses our lives immensely, and I am so grateful for him, and for his son Jesus Christ that made it possible that we can repent and live with them again.

How I live my faith

I have grown up in the church. I have been able to grow up with amazing youth groups and leaders who have really taught us the gospel, but also have shown me how to live the gospel. I have been able to work with the 18 month to 3 year olds in our church. I love being able to see the joy and excitement as they learn the different lessons, they pick up on the different principles so fast. I love being able to play pretend with them through different games, and seeing the joys that come into their lives as different activities make a difference in their lives. I am currently serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that this gospel is the true church on the Earth today. It has brought me so much peace and comfort as I have gone through hard times, lost loved ones and close friends, and watching others in my family struggle. I live my faith each and every day by having a smile on my face. A smile can make a difference in others lives, and i hope to be able to make a difference for others.
