Hi I'm Tyler

I am about to serve a mission in Uruguay. At home, I love to read and play the piano. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love music. I've taken piano lessons since 1st grade and the piano holds a special place in my heart. I love practicing, performing, and just playing the piano. I also played trumpet in my high school marching and concert bands. Last year, I got to be head drum major for the marching band. I learned a lot about leadership during that time and had a blast. I have a mom and a dad and two younger brothers. They are all very supportive of my decision to go on a mission right out of high school. In a few weeks, I will begin serving a two-year mission in Uruguay.

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel is a message of joy! I know it to be true. I know that Jesus Christ truly suffered for our sins and died for us so that we can be made clean and return to live with Him again! All that we need to do to return to Him is to have faith in Him, repent of our sins, be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, obey His commandments, and endure to the end. We have been given the fulness of the gospel restored by Joseph Smith. We have scriptures, prophets, and modern revelation! What a wonderful message! I can't wait to share it with the people of Uruguay.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to serve with the other young men in several callings. I have sent invitations and reminders, planned and participated in activities as far ranging as dodgeball games and mountain hikes, and taught lessons in Sunday School and Priesthood. I love learning and serving with the youth. We have become good friends and fantastic examples to each other.
