Hi I'm Stephen Pritchard

I'm a Mormon for the last 36 years of my 45 years on the earth and i am proud to be so.

About Me

I happly married a father of four children and enjoying life. I love family history which is part of my belief and a necessity. I love music especially inspirational music. I've been doing some courses such as IT, and Health and Safety to better my prospects because i believe education is important for the mind and soul.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of this church simply because it is true, and why do I believe it is true. The Lord has shown me His promise that through the Holy Ghost we may know the truth of all things. It has been a long haul since 1976 when i was baptized as a boy of 9 in the sea in Towyn North wales. My tesimony has come not as a single event but a bit at a time i have come to know my Saviour as i have sat pondering over my life. When i am in the presence of good people, doing good works, listening to our prophet and our church leaders i feel that inner peace that comes. When i have bore my testimony or a talk i have felt the Holy Ghost near, something that we can each have known as personal revelation. I believe in the power of prayer, the power of the priesthood which i hold, the law of tithing etc....... This is a prooving ground which we tread and we need to proove to ourselves. The Lords coming is near I know he will fulfil his promise and i look forward to the day when he comes. I bear my testimony that God lives Jesus Christ really loves us by giving of himself a sacrifice for sin and overcoming death that if we repent and endure to the end we will truly inherit all the father has.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the comunity by being available to talk to or to help in anyway that is required, inviting people to our home for dinner whether they are members of the church or not and have discussions on faith. We hold a weekly family get together called Family Home Evening where we share quality time together read the scriptures or a lesson and activities just doing things together as a family. I do hometeaching and love going to members homes and relate a message from our church leaders.
