Hi I'm James

I studied Interior Design at University, I'm a d.i.y enthusiast, I'm a husband, I'm a father, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I'm James. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from England. I got married in 2010 to my beautiful wife and am enjoying being a father to our 31/2 year old and 1 year old boys. I served a two year mission for the church in Ireland, which I thoroughly enjoyed and upon my return, decided to study interior design at University. I love being creative and enjoy making things for my home and garden. When I have time I play guitar whilst my wife sings.....good times!

Why I am a Mormon

I am from a family of church members. My ancestors joined the church in the 1850's. My parents taught me as a child about Jesus Christ and I never doubted that he is real and died to save the world. I am grateful to my parents for their efforts in teaching me and my two brothers about the teachings of the gospel. My beliefs have continued to develop and be strengthened as I read the holy scriptures and give service in the church. I know that the teachings of the church are true because I feel the companionship of the holy spirit when I learn about them. I know that the Book of Mormon is true because I have studied it and prayed about it. I spent two years of my life sharing it with others daily. Joseph Smith was called as a modern day prophet to restore the church to the earth after it was lost through apostasy. I know that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I love that the church is run by volunteers. I currently sit on a church council that helps run a group of congregations called a Stake. I am currently assigned to provide service to the people of a particular congregation. I really enjoy being able to serve other people. It makes me feel good inside.
