Hi I'm Jenna

I love to enjoy God's creations in the great outdoors as often as possible. I’m an aspiring artist. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I started out as a quirky child with pure white hair that led people to compare me to an albino – particularly the albino from The Princess Bride. (You know: "Welcome to the pit of despair!") Sadly, my white hair turned blonde, but I got to keep the quirkiness. I believe in going green and enjoying the great outdoors as often as possible, preferably while being barefoot. I love to depict the beauty of the world that surrounds me through drawing and painting. I am always in search of a new adventure. We live on such an incredible planet, and I want to spend my life exploring it. I love my family. They mean more to me than anything else in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

Several years ago my mother passed away after suffering from colon cancer. Ever since then, it has been impossible for me to believe that this life is finite. I have felt her presence so strongly, and I can't deny that her spirit lives. This has been the basis for my testimony and beliefs. Knowing that the spirit lives on beyond the death of the body has proven to me that Jesus Christ died, was resurrected, and now lives. During difficult times of my life, I have discovered that in order for me to get through trials, I needed to hold to the truths I knew. I know that the love of Jesus Christ is what has helped me through everything in my life. I have felt His love throughout my life. I went through a period where I wanted nothing to do with the church. It was the most difficult time of my life. When I realized that there was something missing, I wasn't sure how to reorder my life, but He gave me the answers I needed. His love for us is real, infinite, incomprehensible and perfect.

How I live my faith

I'm a missionary right now! I'm serving in the New Zealand Hamilton mission. I know that I fail more often than not, but I try to follow Christ's example as much as I can. I try to always remember that everyone is a child of God, and that He loves them far more than we can ever possibly understand. I am a missionary so I can teach others of the truths that I know. I want everyone to know how much their Heavenly Father loves them and especially of the divinity of Jesus Christ.
