Hi I'm Andrew

I was born in Verona, Italy! I studied science and robotics. I love sports! I'm a Mormon missionary.

About Me

I am from a family of 4. I was born in Verona were I spend all my life until I left to serve as a missionary. I grew playing every kind of sport, especially football and volleyball. In winter snowboard, in summer sea sports or climbing and mountain biking. At school I loved science and I studied from biology to maths and quantum mechanics. I discovered my passion for robotics and working in the after school I was able to present some "experiments" in local contests and universities. I decided to stop my study for a little and to serve as a missionary, receiving the call for the England Manchester Mission. I am a very active person, with desire to learn all kind of things. I love having a knowledge of how the things around me work. I love cars, especially the engineering behind "what you can see". When I finish my mission I will study robotics at university trying to work around the subject of vehicles. I love music and I played piano and guitar for a few years.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family that was already a member. Even if I had these teachings from my family being a teenager has never been easy. Especially at school, all the teachers and teachings seemed to go against what my parents taught me. As many other I reached the point to make a decision in my life. That decision was going to change my life, and maybe eternity. I decided to follow the suggestion of my parents that love me. Pray about the Book of Mormon, pray to know if God is really there. This is what I did. Because of that great and long searching for answers (they didn't come immediately and all together) I was able to volunteer to serve for 2 years as a full time missionary and give thanks with my service of all the blessings me and my family received. I know Jesus Christ lives and that He know us personally. All of us we should humble ourselves and just give a tray. God loves all of us, it worked for me, it will work for each one of us.

How I live my faith

In the congregation where I grew up I was able to receive opportunities to serve those around me. When a teenager I was able to coordinate some efforts for the spiritual growth of the young men in the congregation and a little bit older I was helping groups of young single adults to meet together and have activities every week. I also loved going with my Dad first, and with another member of the congregation after to visit families of the congregation and others that were struggling. The love that my parents taught me to share helped me to understand the love that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for us. The way I live my faith is striving to make the right decision day by day and being an example for those around me. Life, even if full of difficulties and challenges, helps us grow and learn. The same as when our parents were teaching us to ride a bike! My knees are still sore!! I know that through my Savior Jesus Christ these mistakes can be healed!
